I wish to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who participated in and made my 25th anniversary so very special, from the cleaning and set-up, to the decorations, the photo boards, the delicious food, the greeters, the servers, the kitchen crew and the inspiring concert. It was a beautiful and grace-filled day, full of joy and happiness! Approximately 300 people showed up from both my current and past assignments. And even a few people from my childhood showed up that I have not seen since high school! I am grateful, too, for my family members who were able to come and share in this wonderful event. I heard so many compliments about the event and how well it was handled and executed. In addition to seeing so many people that I love and have impacted my life over the years, the Holy Hour was probably the highlight of the day for me. It was so very powerful! About 200 people were in attendance. All those voices praying the rosary together and lifting their voices in praise of God with beautiful hymns brought about a manifestation of God’s presence that was acutely felt and moving to the soul. I believe we had a taste of what all those apostles and disciples felt when the Holy Spirit descended at that first Pentecost 2000 years ago. The Holy Spirit was definitely moving and what a beautiful way to celebrate the birthday of the Church at Pentecost! Again, thank you so much for making my anniversary so special! It is a day I will never forget. I love you all very much. May the Lord bless and reward your kindness! ~ Fr. David
