Fr. Jeremy Freehill will be giving a talk about our Blessed Mother on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rock Island (2208 4th Ave.). Registration is at 9:00am. The rosary and talk are at 9:30am followed by Mass at 11:00am. No charge. Please RSVP to [email protected] or to Kimberly Lange at 309-265-8514.

Fr. David will be offering a study of the Mass during Lent on Sundays at 4:00-5:00pm at St. Patrick’s. We will be using the book: “A Devotional Journey into the Mass.” The book is $4 per copy. Please sign up in the narthex. All are welcome.

Ash Wednesday is on March 6th. The Masses are as follows: St. Mary’s at noon, Immaculate Conception at 5:30pm, and St. Patrick’s at 7:30pm.

Please join us for our annual St. Patrick’s Day dinner on Sunday, March 10th from noon until 2:00pm!!! We will be serving Corned beef, Roast Beef and Hot Dogs with all the trimmings. We will have a live Irish band playing music for entertainment and will have a raffle as well as silent auction items. You can purchase tickets at the parish office, after Mass this weekend or purchase them online at our parish website.

The candle wax ornaments are back! This time in the form of a shamrock, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! Please consider supporting the St. Mary’s Altar & Rosary Society by purchasing a shamrock ornament for $5 each. The shamrock has a deep religious significance for Christians, being a symbol of the Holy Trinity. You can purchase these ornaments at the St. Patrick’s Day event in Havana or by contacting Diane Intravartolo at [email protected] or call at 309-668-2364. Thank you for your support!

Mass Intentions are needed at Immaculate Conception And as a reminder all checks for mass intentions should be made out to St. Patrick's Church to simplify accounting.

A new powerful film about hope and the power of prayer will be showing at the Spalding Pastoral Center in Peoria on Saturday, March 16th at 1:00-3:00pm. The cost is $5 and a donation of baby diapers.
