October is the month of the rosary. Please consider taking on the “October challenge” and pray the rosary each day of the month. Our Lord is counting on our prayers to work many graces in the world today. Pray especially for these intentions: 1. For world leaders and governments 2. For Church leaders and the Amazon Synod 3. For an end to legalized abortion

The sale and use of recreational marijuana will become legal in Illinois on January 1, 2020. The law allows villages, cities and counties to opt out of marijuana retail sales. This drug has a high potential for abuse and having negative effects on our local community. In the narthex is a petition asking the city of Havana to prohibit marijuana business establishments. Please sign the petition if you would like to support this. Thanks.
