In addition to the regular confession times offered each week, Fr. David is offering two additional times during this Holy Week: 6:30pm on Monday at St. Patrick’s and 6:30pm on Tuesday at Immaculate Conception.

The Sunday after Easter Immaculate Conception will conduct an Easter Egg hunt for the children after the 9am Mass. Come and join the fun!!!

The new Living Faith booklets are available in the narthex. They contain nice daily reflections for the next three months. They are free for the taking!

Holy Week is the most important week of the Church Year. Please consider coming to the Holy Week services listed below:
Holy Thursday: Mass at 8:00pm at Immaculate Conception
Good Friday: Stations of the Cross at 2:00pm followed with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy
Good Friday Service at St. Patrick's at 3:00pm
Holy Saturday: Easter Vigil at 8:00pm at Immaculate Conception
Easter Sunday: Mass at St. Mary’s at 9:00am
Mass at St. Patrick’s at 11:00am

Flower arrangements will be purchased to decorate for Easter. If anyone would like to donate money towards the arrangements please let Fr. David know.

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. Please place your old palm branches in the basket in the narthex and be sure to pick up your newly blessed branch to take home.

St. Joseph’s in Pekin is having a fish fry on Friday, March 26th from 4-7pm at the Pekin VFW Club (15665 VFW Rd.) Dine in or carry out. Questions? Call 309-347-6108.

Tickets to win a cash raffle are available for purchase after Mass in Manito today. St. Joseph in Pekin is offering cash prizes of $10,000 / 1,000 / and $500. Tickets cost $20 each. If you would like to purchase tickets see Tina Sondag in the narthex.

This Lent as an act of charity I am encouraging everyone to reach out to those who are homebound and afraid to leave their homes due to COVID-19. This could consist in visits or phone calls, or sending letters or cards. Please pick someone or some people to intentionally reach out to during this Lent. Thank you ~ Fr. David

Please join Fr. David and Taryn Watkins this Lent for the “School of Prayer” which will consist of a short teaching on prayer, time for prayer itself, and a brief time of questions and discussion at the end. It will take place on Wednesdays at 6:30pm at Immaculate Conception in Manito beginning on Wednesday, February 24th. All are welcome!
