Beginning on Monday, August 2nd, it will be exactly 40 days before Bishop Tylka’s visit to our parishes. In preparation for his visit, I would like our parishes to observe a kind of Lent to obtain all the graces that the Lord wants to give as a result of the bishop’s visit. The Lord put this on my heart during silent adoration and I believe it is very important. Please consider offering a rosary or a chaplet each day of the 40 days as well as give something up as a sacrifice for the 40 days in order to obtain these special graces ~ Fr. David
Last Sunday’s breakfast at Immaculate Conception parish raised $1260.00 for their ADA shortfall. Thank you so much! Now mark your calendars for next month’s biscuits and gravy breakfasts. They will take place on August 15th and August 29th. The donations from those breakfasts will go towards our Africa missions.

Elizabeth Forrest would like to begin such a group to pray for Fr. David.
