St. Patrick’s Altar & Rosary will be making noodles this summer for our Chicken/Noodle Dinner in November. Anyone is welcome to make noodles! Please bring a bag of flour and a dozen eggs. Any parishioner can simply donate these or make a monetary contribution.

Actual noodle making will begin at 10:00am and end at noon on the following dates:
Monday, June 27th – Make Noodles - A & R Meeting after Noodle Making
Tuesday, June 28th – Bag Noodles

The Diocese of Peoria will be honoring all the priests of the Diocese of Peoria (including Fr. David) who are celebrating 25 years or 50 years of priesthood at a special Jubilarian Mass at the Cathedral on Thursday, June 23rd at 1:00pm. This Mass is open to anyone who would like to attend. All are welcome!

Fr. David will be celebrating his 25th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood this year. We will celebrate it in Manito on Sunday, June 5th in the following way:

3:00pm Holy Hour of adoration with the rosary in the church
4:00pm Open house in the parish hall with food and drinks
6:00pm Concert in the church with pianist Eric Genuis and accompanists
7:00pm Dessert reception in the hall

Memory boards with photos of Fr. David’s assignments will be created for his 25th anniversary celebration. If anyone has any physical photos of him with parishioners during special events of the past that you would like to contribute please give them to Denise Peters (309-253-5712). Please note that you will not receive them back. Thanks!

It is now time to reestablish the money counting service in our parishes. If you would like to be a money counter please contact Elizabeth at the parish office whether you have been one in the past or have never been one. After we get volunteers, there will be a formal training. Please help with this important service! Thanks

We are in need of more servers for Mass (both children and adults) at all three of our parishes. If you are a boy 9 years old or older or an adult man and wish to serve please contact Fr. David and there will be a formal training to get you going. Thanks!

Our favorite priest is coming back for a long visit! Fr. Nimo will arrive in the US the first week of June and will fly back to Ghana on August 8th. As you always have, please warmly welcome him to our parishes. His visit will allow Fr. David to visit family, go on retreat and take advantage of other ministry opportunities over the summer.
